Thank you for your inquiry of my beautiful property “Bird Whistle”.

I met my husband in 1980 in New York and we made Southampton our getaway. We fell in love in Southampton and we got married in Southampton. It has always been a very special place for me.

Eventually as things go I moved back to France to my families’ chateaux. After years spent entertaining, gardening and traveling with my friends and family I missed Southampton. So, ten years ago I found this beautiful property “Bird Whistle.” I immediately fell in love with the 2-acre property. The house is all on one floor and it is my one-story dream farm house. “Bird Whistle “embodies all that I have every wanted. My garden is very developed with mature plantings and is perfect for entertaining family and friends. My four dogs, two cats and birds all love the natural landscape, yet I am only 5 minutes from town. I walk to the fresh market for local fruits and vegetables straight from the local farmers. One of my hobbies is bird watching. I have a cardinal family, house finch and many chick-a-deas that nest close to my sunroom window. Every summer they come back to me with their lovely tails of their travels. My home is tranquil, peaceful and quiet besides the sounds of birds and I have occasional deer that visit. My property is 100% fenced in for security and privacy so that the deer are not able to have supper at my house.  My house features 3-bedroom, an office/den, sunroom, kitchen, tv room and 2 fireplaces. My house if perfect for traditional dinners and family holidays with a traditional living room and dinning room for those special occasions. I do have a one car garage and a room attached for live in help.

Now its time for my next chapter, I know that my beloved home will sell to someone like me who appreciates nature and the beauty of Southampton. The most important thing of all is the close proximity to town only 5 minutes away.
